The Rahab Orphanage Mombassa

KENYA

The Rahab Orphanage Mombassa accommodates up to 60 children who were left homeless due to the election dispute in December 2007.

This refuge was set up as a place of shelter as the women and children escape the violence and the harsh realities of a country in turmoil. To manage this orphanage the monthly budget is AU$1500, which includes food, rent, medicine, security and a live-in matron.  A doctor visits this home weekly and all the children are now receiving education in a government school.

These are orphaned children whose parents were killed in the Kenyan conflict.

Sponsor a child on AU$10 per week or AU$40per month.

Small business can show their support by donating AU$25 per week or AU$100 per month.
